16/11 – Professor Henry Curran, Professor Donal O’Regan, and Professor Patrick W. Serruys (pictured) were named on the annual Highly Cited Researchers 2021 list from Clarivate.

2/12 – INTERSTROKE, a global study co-led by NUI Galway into causes of stroke, found that one in 11 survivors experienced a period of anger or upset in the one hour leading up to it. One in 20 patients had engaged in heavy physical exertion.
